The article makes perfect sense. Which is why neither party - save Bernie, AOC and a few others - will do anything. The Overton window has shifted heavily rightward. Democratic approval is at an historic low; they should be able to figure out why but they don't want to rock the boat. The Democrats have stopped getting donations from me. And that should worry them.

That is why Bernie has remained an independent; he feels Democrats have never done enough. He's right, and your frustrations are justified.

Even now, as Democratic polling is terrible, the party as a whole refuses to take a strong stand against corporate and billionaire greed to say that Americans deserve better. To declare that everyone deserves a place to live, nutritious food to eat, quality healthcare, and the opportunity to improve their lives through education and jobs that pay a fair wage.

I do not know what Democratic leadership either can't understand this or is too afraid to do this, but it is a massive failure on their part. Democrats need new blood and new leaders.
